The ASAMI India Mid-Term Meeting is a focused academic initiative introduced to complement our flagship annual conference, ASAMICON. Held approximately six months prior to ASAMICON, this mid-term gathering is designed to provide in-depth, theme-based learning on a single, specialised aspect of Ilizarov methodology and limb reconstruction.
Unlike the annual conference, which covers the entire spectrum of limb lengthening, deformity correction, and reconstruction techniques, the Mid-Term Meeting zeroes in on a specific topic, enabling participants to engage more deeply, discuss evolving concepts, and refine practical approaches through dedicated lectures, case discussions, and workshops.
This meeting fosters high-level academic interaction in a more intimate, immersive format, encouraging focused dialogue among experts, faculty, and attendees. It also serves as an important academic checkpoint in the ASAMI India calendar, helping to maintain year-round engagement and continuous professional development within the community.
We invite all members and trainees passionate about limb reconstruction to actively participate and benefit from this unique academic platform.
